Computer Games Magazine just conducted an interview with me about NS 3.0, NS on the HL2 engine and Unknown Worlds. Read the interview here, then give feedback here!Computer Games - First, Natural Selection has been one of the more popular mods for Half-Life. Have you been surprised at the longevity of the mod?Charlie Cleveland - We've worked hard to continue updating it and growing it, so I'm not surprised it's still going strong. Most game developers aren't allowed to keep working on a game after release, but that's a luxury mod teams take for granted. We have big plans for NS so we're just getting started!Computer Games - Even though Half-Life 2 has been released, work still continues on the original Natural Selection mod. What can you tell us about the content additions that will be put into the upcoming 3.0 version?Charlie Cleveland - Probably the biggest content addition is the addition of third-person reload animations. It's great knowing when a marine is reloading, so you can drop off the ceiling and snack on him. Because this is a final release (not beta), we've spent a lot of time on many smaller tweaks for consistency and polish (sprite and sound changes, updated models, etc.). We're also hoping to see NS fully integrated into Steam, under the "My Games" list.
