Been a while since I have had an up to date mapping website, taken a big year out from mapping really. My old site http://imagination.hlgaming.com should no longer be accessible, this is now my permanent site and address. The design is simple as I really do not see the point in making a big fancy website. Big thanks to Mitchel Skurnik (MJCS-gTFC-) for the hosting and sorting everything out. Done everything quickly, well and provided me with appropriate information. You've been great! Now to my 'real' news.I have got a couple of low quality maps in the portfolio section which were made around about a year and 3months ago and are available to download, and I now have plans for other projects. Outbreak will be a small single player mission for Half-Life 2. As of yet the main setting is not yet been decided, it is possible you may be playing as Gordon or a rebel, and I may try and re-create some scenes from the old docks trailers that I have seen. I can not gurantee there will be anything similar to those scenes, but I was a big fan of the docks trailer, so that will inspire me along with the existing Half-Life 2 levels. Outbreak will of course take a while to create and will take up a big chunk of my time so I am not expecting to finish it until the Summer time.Valerie is a new creation I have started for the Natural-Selection mod on the Half-Life engine. I am really aiming for a big indoor sci-fi environment which has the same sort of atmosphere of the official maps, and well known 'serious' custom maps. You can expect Valerie to be a classic map with the ns_ prefix, and expect it to be of a much higher quality than Glory which is in my portfolio. The aim is to get the final version of Valerie out before my birthday, which is May. Although I expect beta's will be coming out around Easter time. The best way to keep track of this level will be through a design thread on the Unknown Worlds forums, I will provide a link when it is relevant.Anyway, I have not really got much on the site at the moment and I will be updating this one alot more than I did the other site. You can also expect more screenshots, downloads and I may even upload some tutorials. I also have a small plan to do a 'mini help class' every so often on mIRC which would probably be once a week. If it was to happen I could not see it coming before March due to school work, and my plans to transfer to another school next year which is taking time away from me at the moment. Until next update, I will leave you with nothing but the rest of the site and the two small images at the top right of the page as a little tease.
