This map started a while by in the community. It's orginal author, Bluestrike, passed it along to Squad while it was still being worked on as map for another mod from years back. Over some time, Squad slowly adapted the map to the design it is currently in. Swatman has taken to polishing the map for our 1.4 release.
Khartoum is one of the largest villages in Sudan. The name Khartoum means 'Elephant's trunk' and in Sudan it is considered the world's largest waiting room.

Later this week we will see some shots of a few of the other maps we have coming. I'll also have an interview with some of our newer staff members and keep your eyes open....
