City of Industry, CA (July 1st, 2004) – MSI®, one of top-tier motherboard and graphics card manufacturers, has signed on to sponsor this summer’s Cyberathlete® Extreme World Championships.
MSI will showcase a variety of gaming hardware to have fun with the 4,000 gamers from 50 different countries attending the event.

During the five-day event (7/28/04 ~ 8/1/04), participants not only will have the chance to interact with MSI’s newly-delivered PC hardwares but will also experience their outstanding performance and fantastic features, which include gaming motherboards, graphics cards, small-form-factor Hi-Fi PCs and multifunctional USB Flash MP3 Players.

Several gaming activities will be held at the MSI booth to allow gamers to fully experience the new products and offer them an opportunity to win special prizes. This is the first time that MSI is working with the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) to reach the hard-core gaming community. MSI is excited about being able to chat and understand the needs of the most demanding demographic in gaming and share with other vendors at the CPL summer event.
