Well, it's about time for another media update, including mostly concept art that gives a little more insight into the weaponry and vehicles that will be included in the Badge of Blood universe.

We'll start the show with a few of the primary weapons of the European GPA Forces.

First, we have the Koester Forge ML-114 Light Machine Gun:

Next, we have the re-envisioned Koester Forge FA-112, the assault rifle that was derived from the popular ML-114 LMG:

We also have the Polish designed Dwowice Machine Tools Co. Wz78, a popular submachine gun and personal defense weapon for GPA officers and vehicle crews:

Now, we also want to make sure our MDF in-waiting out there get some love too, so we wanted to show you a couple of the weapons and a vehicle that we have in the making!

Here, we have the Aberson & Bosche AB65HE RaDDICS Weapon:

Next we have Gyrovin Machine Sodality's GM995, a powerful anti-material gauss rifle that uses electromagnetic energy to propel its round in lieu traditional chemical propellant:

And now we present the Autotek IFV28 "Lancer" infantry fighting vehicle, including a sheet of additional turret modules!

As you can imagine, the combinations will allow for a wide variety of player options!

Ok, that wraps up this media update... We still have a lot of content sitting around waiting to see the light of day, but we want to make to sure that everything looks spectacular before we put out for public consumption. Our first alpha is well on its way, and hopefully within the next month, we'll have in-game screenshots to show off that will include some of our menu styles, HUD items, models, and custom maps! Very exciting stuff!

Well everyone I thought it would never come. We have actually launched the site. Now, keep in mind we launched it kind of early. There are still some tweaks we need to do to it but I wanted to get it out there for the world to see!

Anyhow, enjoy the forums, check out our IRC with the chat option, and just enjoy it. We will have more content up later so keep checking back this week.

Source: The Somme Valley

As I'm sure some of you know, I'm the leader of the World War One modification called The Somme Valley, which tonight, takes on the name Flanders Fields, and the new URL of www.flandersmod.com. My team has underwent an extensive restructuring to make it not only more efficiant, but of much higher quality too.

Apart from the above changes, it's time for media! Terminal Reality's "X-Convict" has done a personal favor for me and modeled and skinned two Sturmpanzerwagen A7V tanks, the first German tank in history:

As you can see, it's nothing but the highest quality for Flanders Fields! So be sure to update your bookmarks, and your IRC perform lists to #flandersfields (on irc.gamesurge.net), and I hope to see some new faces around :)

Fortress Forever, a very much anticipated Half-Life 2 Modification (speaking on my own part, as an avid TFC fan), has released its first skinned character modelers, the snipers!

Also, two new additions to the FF team (MrBeefy [texture artist] and soulescape [sound engineer]) will most definatly speed along production, so keep your eye on this one ;)

Source: Hostile Map Database

It's been a while since we've seen an update from HMD, but they now have a working version of hi_farmhouse. The development of the map was halted upon the 1.4 release of Holstile Intent due to the sheer amount of models and entities which pushed it over the limits of the engine. Work re-progressed on the map, and the entity list was taken from nearly 400 to 270, a much more acceptable range.

You can head here to download the map.
