Well it’s been quite a while since Jedi: Timelines last news post, but they have been working hard on getting things going. You will see a few new models, by M@ty, and CheeseSteakJim. Also you will see some of the great work from their Concept artist altiquek.

For all of The Jedi: Timeline forum members you will see a new area just for you. ”Members first look.”(http://jedi.halflife-mods.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=26) This is where you will find work in progresses, and early releases of models. Right now I have just posted the AT-ST in there so go check it out.

The last thing is soon on Half-Life Radio (http://www.halfliferadio.com) they will be holding a Star Wars night. Jedi: Timeline has been invited on to talk on it, as well as mod leaders from UT2k3’s Troopers (http://www.ut2003troopers.com), and Battlefield 1942’s Galactic Conquest (http://www.galactic-conquest.net). They will be talking all about Star Wars in gamming. I will post more info on this once I have it, but it will be in the next 2 weeks. So keep checking back here, and on Half-Life Radio (http://www.halfliferadio.com). Now on to the images.

The X-Wing (T-65) starfighter has proven itself to be the mainstay of the Rebel forces. It is perhaps the best-balanced of the fighters used by the Rebel Alliance. This because of its maneuverability and high speed, An other benefit of the X-Wing is it's fire power. The X-Wing is so called because in attach posture the wings separate in a scissor like action to form an "X" configuration. In this attack mode the Strike foils give the craft a larger targeting spread and with it's engines spread father apart, create a greater direct-thrust attitude change capability.

- Manufacturer: Incom Corporation T065 X-Wing
- Length: 19 Meter long
- Speed: Incom 4j.4 fusial thrust Rated at at 120 KTU, Hyperdrive Incom GBk-585 motivator drive
- Crew: 1 pilot and 1 astromech droid
- Weapons: 4 taim Bak LX4 laser cannons, 4 Proton torpedo
- Shields/Armor: Quadanium steel armour
- Special Features: S-Foil Wings Adjustable for atmospheric flight

A Naboo Security S-5 Blaster carried by members of the Royal Security Forces. A small grappling hook can be attached to the pistol, converting it into an ascension gun. The hook's claws embed into almost any surface, and when the pistol's built-in cable retracts, the blaster is capable of hoisting its wielder. In addition, the security blaster can fire blaster bolts, rapid fire for a few seconds, sting charges and anesthetic micro darts. Queen Amidala, Captain Panaka, and their troops use ascension guns to gain entry into the Theed palace after it was captured by the Trade Federation.

Next you see the first public concept work done by the talented altiquek. Below you will see two concepts of new Sith that will be featured within the game. And also you will see a rough sketch on a vehicle that you will find out there in Jedi: Timeline

It's been too long since our last update, and we have some really great renders for you to see. We have 9 pieces of Media this time around, and all of the departments have something great to show us.

On top of that, we would like to welcome 3 new Sound Engineers to our Conceptual Department. Toeknee will be heading them up, assisted by his roomate SimianResistance. Both of these fellows will be doing most of Citizen-132's sounds and ambient sounds, and we expect great things from both of them. On top of that, today, Busy joined us. Busy is from France, and will be doing the voice acting (since C132 takes place in France).

Now, on to the media:
We will start in the Media Department, headed by Polygunner.
He has finished two great new renders:
The ever famous Mobygenic (The Mobygenic render was a joint venture between Polygunner and TREPHINE, who made the Car you see in the render. ) And The Mutant, Stuck in his tank!

His partner in crime, the modeling machine, KingKong also got two models out the door.
The Socom
And the Famas

Moving to the next department, Taco241, our concept artist, finished two sketches. Taco has been experimenting with a new form of concept art, and he hopes you enjoy the new style as much as he does...
The monkey
and the Floater

Now on to the mapping Department:
Zyndrone shows us some shots of the dark Caves And Minotauro has released some HL1 shots (as concept) of the Prison

Finally, Kingkong has released a wallpaper with all of his models. It is available on the Files page.

Citizen-132 WANTS YOU!
We currently have positions open for texture artists/skinners in our modeling department.

Also, we are looking for a multimedia expert. Someone who is good with Flash, Director, or Final Cut Pro, for an upcoming movie title we are working on. Apply to smurray@citizen-132.com

Source: Operations 1942
Hi There!
After two years of more or less effective development we did it. The new Half-Life SP mod "Operations 1942" got into final status and is now available for download.
The Mod
With Operations 1942, we develop a Half-Life Singleplayer mod which is the first to have a high standard of realism and quality. All missions, the player will have to face while playing the game, will be based on historical events which will give the game additional atmosphere. The realistic damage system and the film-quality background music will add to the special Feeling of Operations 1942.
Storyline
The year is 1942. The war, only present in Europe and North-Africa becomes a world war as Japan joins. The American forces decide to intervene in the European war, which will become bigger than ever in 1944 with the invasion of France. You are part of a secret commando unit, which was trained for seeking and spying behind enemy lines. In your missions in North Africa, France and Germany you will be on your own and have to act alike. Your mission is, to fulfil your objectives without being detected, which is for your own safety. Many situations can be solved better by cheating, sneaking and sometimes with a well aimed shot as opposed to an offensive assault.
Special Feature
One of the special features of Ops1942 is the "Mission Selection System". This allowes mappers to add missions after the game has been released, just by copy and paste. The Ops1942 community will be able to download these new missions at our homepage. Due to this concept players hopefully are much longer interested in this type of SP mod than in "normal" SP mods.
To realize this idea we developed a special application to start the mod, which is placed in the ../ops1942 folder, called OpsLoader.exe. This Application detect all missions "installed" in the ../maps folder. By using the navgation and start buttons the player is able to select and start a mission in an easy way.

Thanks for your interest! It would be great to see a news about our mod on your site (the attechment includes some new screenshots). And please also mention the special feature above, i guess it's a nice possibility for mappers... You'll find more informations/downloads here
