The current design document is now online and accessible via the Design menu at the lefthand side. There is plenty more to put in here but I thought it good that everyone can see what we have so far. Next the about page will be simplified and the weapon progress page will be made available.

Here is your first update since the release of beta 1.2..wee! First I would like to mention that we are planning to release a quick patch sometime this week. The patch will take care of the blocking exploit as well as many other bugs found since the release. Thanks to a nifty new tool called Mantis Bug Tracker both harSens and Pcjoe have been knocking out bugs left and right (just check out Joe's dev!). You can check out the bug tracker at http://bugs.esforces.com.

Today we made revisions to the team and testing staff. Concerning the team; Ultraq has been dropped after being MIA for months; Metro-tek/TCiccarelli has also been left the ESF team for his absenses due to medical reasons. On a positive note, we have picked up Zack as a win32 application programmer. Besdies that, there has also been some shuffling with the testing staff. You can check out the active beta testers in the staff section of the site.

Valve was kind enough today to show the progress of their much anticipated sequel to one of the best PC games ever---Half-Life 2. The demo wasn’t so much for showing off earth-shattering news about the gameplay, but rather just to give folks an idea of their progress since last E3, and for the developers to show snippets of some of their favorite moments from beta testing as well as give hints about the beginning of the story. Valve’s Eric Johnson, of Valve, was on hand to provide explanation for the scenes we were about to witness.

The End of All is going to be an all original mod for HL2... of course it's going to be and FPS game.. but it's also gonna be greatly focused on a horror aspect... basically ideas are still being worked out by me... for sure it's definantaly gonna have a 1 player and multiplayer modes... but I can tell you that chances are that your going to pee your pants at multiple points in the game ..... Tho I myself won't really be able to do any hands on work till I get a better comp, but I can tell you all that i'm going to be trying to do some concept art (even tho my ability to draw sux ... lol)... but in this mod I really wanna focus on a stong horror factor... heck, if someone has a heart attack playing this mod, then I will know that my job here is done....
