Once again the forums were wiped, I dont know how as I just came back a few days after everything went down hill. Apparently Ronan Hayes deleted them on his webaccount without consulting anyone. Our webdesigner, Gh0st, disappeared, and NC|7, my replacement leader also disappeared. Leaving the mod in the dark, without a leader or any form of organization while I was gone.

It's been a great year or so, and we're sorry to let you down, after a large team that worked so hard for so long, its sad to see a few idling members bring it down.

Goodbye, and goodluck to all,
Mith

Finally all the weapons are finished. The Blade render you see is the second melee soaker for the mod. The Gooper render shows off the soaker that shoots slime.
We need one more dedicated mapper to join to make 2 maps for the release. Towards the end of the month you will see some movies and testing will begin next month towards the end. In closing I show you the final two Water Wars weapons for the mod.

Jason has been busy coding in new Alpha Bomb effects using his particle system and sprites made by SSJS. Check out these two brand new screenshots for charging and firing an alpha bomb respectively:

We also have brand new smoke trails for the homing missiles and the wasted missile, and here are three brand new screenshots to show off the new trails:

Do note that these are unaltered screenshots straight from the game to your screens, the glowy effect that you see is the CG pixel shading effect that Jason implemented. Our new modeller Va$h2k4 has also made his first model for MechMod which will make it's way into our first release. The following model is titled MK-II Monster, and it is a heavy duty mech from the Robotech series:

More updates coming soon, keep watching our forums and homepage!
