Welcome back to the new forums! As was clearly illustrated by the note I left on our old forums, I wish I could have opened these forums by announcing the release of the next version of our game. However, this is something I cannot do.I won't make excuses. There's nothing to excuse - we do this in our free time which is something that alot of us don't have during the holidays. Those of you who have emailed us angrily need to understand that we are under no obligation to deliver anything at any time. That being said, we enjoy what we do and we're going to continue doing it.Those who have supported us, thank you. We've gone through a bunch of different forums... back-in-the-day phpBB, back-in-the-day vBulletin, phpBB, XMB... It's in part because of your support that we were able to afford this bulletin board system. Which by the way, is totally awesome and has made everyone who's had to work with it very happy.Beta testers (you know who you are) please PM me so I can add access to the beta forum to your account. Testing begins Jan 2nd.Thank you for your patience :)

Source: HL2Files.comRelated: BrainBreadThe BrainBread mod team has been interviewed over at Interlopers.net. Here are some words:
Interlopers.net: How long was Brain Bread under development for - and what were the challenges that arose during development? Was everything you intended to be in the mod make it, or did the limitations of the Half-Life Engine prevent you from adding everything you wanted? Brain Bread: It was about 4 months from the first idea to the release of which 2 months were real development time as we were still working on Public-Enemy in the beginning. We wanted to include even more zombies and zombie skins and the map would also have been bigger if the engine allowed it.The full interview can be found here.

- Of the features used in FLF 1.x which would you like to see return in any FLF source projects?
- Of the features used in FLF 1.x which would you like to see removed from any FLF source projects?
- Taking in all the base features of FLF what do you feel is the core aspect that has kept you playing for as long as you have?
- What core features of FLF 1.x do you feel have caused the most harm to the basic premise of FLF since its genesis?
- Do you feel those features could still be tweaked to compliment the basic premise of FLF or should they be totally removed? Please briefly explain how you would tweak them to fit w/ the basic premise of FLF?
- If FLF 1.x were to continue on the Source Engine would you be against vehicles being introduced into more of a role? Why?
- Would you be open to a mod that had 3 different styles of gameplay such as "Classic FLF" (self explanitory) "Vehicle FLF" (tank /dunebuggy battles and other vehicles) "Tactical FLF" (less DM more tactical/team oriented) all defined by map prefix ie: flf_mapname flv_mapname flt_mapname? (as opposed to just the basic FLF style classic)?
- Would you want a larger variety of weapons, defined by map (mappers choice) or the same selection and classes for all maps? (classic FLF style)
- Do you think the Mod name Frontline Force should be retired, and a new mod created for source?
- Do you have talents to offer the Devolpment team such as Coding, Modeling, Mapping, Sound, or Textures?

30.12.2000, 4 years ago Snow-War site went public. It has been a long road, but I think it was worth it. Despite all the difficulties we have managed to make several releases over the years. As we know many (most) mods never manage to get release out, so I am definately happy Snow-War got beyond the concepts. And aa celebration of the event, I made Snow-War Classic Map Pack for you all!It contains 13 maps for Snow-War 2.0. They are from older releases, exceptsw_industrial3 and sw_snowvalley. Maps included are ctf_riverside, kotm_fort, sw_backyard, sw_badtaste1_snowfall, sw_cool, sw_cream, sw_creambase, sw_ferret, sw_frostbite, sw_industrial3, sw_lake, sw_playgroundII and sw_snowvalley.Although time has driven past on some of the graphics in maps, they should still provide the same good ol' gameplay they did back then! Here are some pics of what you can expect:You can find the pack in http://snowwar.hlgaming.com/So happy New Year and Snow-Wars 4-year Anniversary!
