After two and a bit days downtime we return. The forums and site are returned and in full working order, however we've lost all the mailing lists. These will be started again the near future and will be more tied to the site.

In the past week and the time the site was down we've been cracking on with BG. Predator has been preparing patches for the mysteriously broken bg_forestroad and some bug fixes for bg_bunkerhill. There will be a quick 1.2.2 patch before the new year to sort out most of the issues that we've had (there are only a few and there all minor bar the bg_forestroad problems).

BlackPanther has been doing some exciting work on bg_snowlake for 1.3. This includes a whole rebuild of the lake area and reworking of the capture areas. To the side you can see two screens showing his progress. I have also been working with BlackPanther on the new site design which will be rolled out in the New Year. A screenshot of a work in progress build of the new design can be seen at the right of this news post.

Finally by no means least, we'd like to welcome Forklet to our team. Forklet will be working on the character skins for 1.3. Forkman will be a familiar face to a lot of you due to his work with Gettysburg, GreenLight by Invasion Works and being involved in the BG community over the past three years. Expect to see exciting work from Forklet shortly.
