Dabaz from Mod Classifieds has interviewed BlackPanther, Ben^ and Sgt_Pepper from the Battle Grounds.

Dabaz: There’s probably a lot of things that people want you to put into Battlegrounds, things that might make the mod more enjoyable for them. Have any of these things been good enough to make it into the actual mod, or be thought about putting into the mod?


Black Panther:
Well that's hard to answer now as all the feedback from the community changes the way we work on things in some way. But there has been lots of community input not only on the comment base. We had the shout for freedom competition some time ago and the winner sound got into BG 1.2. BG 1.3 will include at least one map contributed from outside the BG Team. Also as BG is now open source we had several small code contributions from community members.
