The Constellation members of Natural Selection are currently testing the next version of the mod - NS 3.0 beta 6. But the developers behind the popular mod are also working on the next two big stepps of the NS universe : Natural Selection Source and Natural Selection 2. Leader Flayra has posted an interesting statement on this :

"Flayra : The dev teams for NS and NS2 will eventually be totally separate, so both will continue to be updated for the years to come. NS2 will be a totally new game and will have both single-player and multi-player. It's going to be a much bigger 'leap forward' then NS was."
