Welcome to the birth of Hammered the ‘Ultimate mapping community’ we offer many services for our community members but our main aim is being a Resource for Mapping on the Half-life 1 and Half-life 2 Engines. Myself 'incy247' and 'Termin8tor are the founding members of Hammered (practicly the admin boss guys :). We run the site and keep things in order. (Contact details are in the HELP! forum)

Some of the many features of Hammered are listed below:

    Showcases:
  • We have showcases where registered members can post up their work and others can rate, comment and download. The best maps and textures in the showcases get added to our download section and the forum thread moved to the Gold archive, showing that the map is deemed ‘Best of Showcase’

    • Downloads:
  • We host All the Gold Maps and Textures from our showcases along with tools for mapping such as, Valve Hammer Editor 3.4, 3.5 and the new VHE for HL2 4.0.

    • Tutorials:
  • We have a collection of tutorials which is still growing, and you can even request tutorials from the founding members or from other forum goers! You could even go so far as to write your own Tutorial and you never know it might be deemed good enough for our Tutorial section!

    • News Content Updates:
  • Every Week or so we will have a content update displaying all the new maps and textures added to the Downloads section along with any new Tutorials written by Founding members and Forum goers alike.

    • Forums:
  • The Heart of Hammered, as it could be called most of the goings on will happen in the forums where you can post topics about Hammered in general, Post your Work in progress even post up your map that’s ready for Beta testing by the hammered community.

    • Help Us Help you:
  • Think the Hammered site could use an extra feature? An instant chat area? Or even a Weekly Poll? Anything you think that could improve Hammered and your experience of the site feel free to post it in Hammered Development!
