I've uploaded my own review of Half-Life 2 to my site. Here some words:

After starting up the game you'll get a great looking menu with a animated background (Which will change depending where you are in the game, first City 17, then the Canals etc). The menu is neat and easy to browse. The well known Steam menu's offer all the options, settings and what not. After setting the controls to my needs, I'm left handed so the wsad combination does not really work for me, and adjusting the looks it was time to get Gordon back into the saddle again, fighting to save the world once more.
