Source: Plan of Attack
It's hard to believe Plan of Attack was publicly unveiled only one month ago, and first released two weeks ago. I'm very proud to announce that we've had over 100,000 game downloads in our first two weeks! This is a huge accomplishment for our team, working on a shoestring budget, but we've managed to produce a solid beta in 4 months that thousands of gamers from around the world are enjoying.

So, what's next for Plan of Attack? News maps! New weapons! More gameplay tweaks, and more bug fixes! We're very hard at work on the next major release, which will include at least one official new map and new weapons.

In celebration of our 100,000 download mark, we're releasing "Plan of Attack Target Practice," an exciting 2D shooter version of our game. Each class has a mini-game that you can play, with high scores revealing "behind the scenes" images from Plan of Attack.

Well, I was going to release these pictures in a week; but after a request via the chatbox (for which you can thank brandoman!) I suppose you can see them now.

This is one of the maps we currently have in production. It's been made by the wonderful Hash, and, as you can hopefully see it is a map of Hoth.

I must admit the slightly embarrasing truth that I don't know Hash that well, nor do I know how long he's been working on this map, but it is worth mentioning that Hash himself said some of these pictures are "quite old". So things may have changed. However, I can safely say I think it looks excellent already!

Ok here's our "monthly" media update, a little late I know but there's plenty to see. We do have some early ingame stuff but the team felt that it would be best to wait until it's really top quality before we show anything off.

I'd like to take a minute to welcome Pr3dator (mapping) and BenWeb (animation) to our team who are both talented workers and should prove great additions to the team, you can expect to see work from them in the coming weeks.

In the next couple of weeks we will be releasing more audio updates and some teaser videos of our maps and some seige weaponary in action. Until then we're got a whopping 21 screenshots for your viewing pleasure, enjoy. Credits on the images.

The second of our monthly content updates has been somewhat delayed and will roll over into next month, we are sorry for this inconvenience, but April is a rather busy month for school/college examinations.

Take this update as a reminder that we are still working hard on The Opera: Release 2, and hope to release it to the public as soon as we can.

This month we have updated the FAQ (courtesy of the "Frequently Asked Questions" thread over at our forums) and we announce a welcome return for the Schtick Showcase!

We are also asking for help in the area of level design, this includes help with mapping locations, model work, and the need for talented texture artists.
If you have any questions about job positions, The Opera game mechanics, or what the colour of blood is, just check out our updated FAQ page, before emailing any questions to our PR department.

This month we are showcasing the "Panic!" schtick.
"Be prepared." This motto stuck with Ng from childhood, and it was the only thing he could trust after trading in camaraderie with corrupt police for a more lucrative life with the triads, who usually had more honor...

Next month expect a full content update containing more weapons from our large weapon list, a new cast member, map shots and much more!
Stay tuned and don't forget to vote for us at the moddb Top100!

Cosmo, a modeler, has catched fire and joined our team! His first aim is to create models for our maps.

We have made some major progress since the last news post and had a playtest recently, the code is coming along very well.
If you haven't checked our .plan's already, then make sure to read the latest updates for more information on the playtest, code and the maps.

This screenshot is supposed to show you some of the graffiti that Vaarscha has photographed and reworked to use them in his map backyard.
