The project is still alive and still getting support and is going very well. Thanks for all your Email and also comments from friends and the team. Your probably wondering, why it has taken so long for a update? To be honest, I've been depressed and havn't really updated the site for a very good reason. The main reason unfortunatly 4 people on the old Dracten team wanted to take over the project and turn it into something with no imagination, they also did some pretty immature things. I couldn't allow it to continue and I am glad they went on there way. I learned my lesson about hiring certain people and ill make sure this matter doesn't happen again. The good News is the new A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) for half life 2 is done. Big Shout out to "Drazula" for doing that. We also have new team members and dedicated people still working on the project from the old team. I hope this update makes up for all the blundering. Now on with the Update!:

Not much at the moment is still being created, as far as the weapons and so on go. We're now focusing on getting things in-game, and getting the code working. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this already, but the mod is currently playable. RedG3, our fantastic coder, has already sent over the client and server binaries. The mod at this stage is still very buggy, and a lot needs to be done... but it is playable. I'll contact him in the near future regarding the next release of code. But rest assured, it's being worked on, and soon enough we'll have a playable build for the public. But since most of our fans are fueled by media, I'll let you all know that I have a few people interested in joining the mod team. These people include 1 skinner, and 2 mappers. So, if they are accepted onto the team, they will bring some new stuff to the media page. While I'm on the subject of media, Aaron Panagos, our concept artist is working on the survivors concepts, so once those are done, Hinkle can get them all modelled out and place them in-game. Right now we're using the Couner-Strike terrorist models as the survivors. So hang in there, I should be getting something soon to show off. Until then, keep up the support! drop by the forums!

The new forums are open!Free custom user titles for the first 20 registered usersAs you can maybe see, the new forums are open. I think they look pretty good. I took a crash course in editing templates and I think it turned out well. Hopefully now people have a place to ask for help on sprays and spray making.See this thread for more details on the custom titles of your choosing.

Day of Defeat: Source will be released this month. While we're not quite ready to pin down the exact date of when it will be available to play, we are confident that it will happen in September. Once we do have an exact date and time for when the game will be activated, we'll let everyone know. There will be a period of one week at minimum during which people will be able to pre-order and preload the game via Steam, giving them the ability to unlock and play at the moment it is activated.Day of Defeat: Source will be available as an individual purchase via Steam, as well as part of the Counter-Strike: Source retail package that will be available at stores around the same time. Half-Life 2: Silver and Gold package customers will automatically be able to play.In the meantime, here are two of the player models from the game -- the Allied Rifleman and the Axis Panzerschreck.

Bringing owners of the original Half-Life a blast-from-the-pastâ„¢, earlier this week we released "Half-Life: Blue Shift" on Steam. This game was made by Gearbox Software and originally released in 2001 as an add-on to Half-Life. In it, you play as Barney Calhoun, the security guard sidekick who helped Gordon out of so many sticky situations back in the Black Mesa Research Facility.Fans will remember that Blue Shift included a "High Definition Pack," a set of visually enhanced player and weapon models. We've had to iron out some technical wrinkles with how we deliver the HD Pack, but it will be made available through Steam within the next week or so.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to share an angry Axis soldier running across the Day of Defeat: Source map "Flash." He and his shovel are coming soon to a Steam Games List near you. (It's difficult for us to pin the exact date down right now, but rest assured it's not far off.)

Well, with lots of working going on in the background, and about 3 months since we even poked our heads out, I thought for this Dead Yet, I would simply post the following...Modeled & Textured by AgentGibsonGDI Basic SoldierTODO: Rigging - Texture compression/consolidation&C welcome (thats comments and critique for you non-knowers).*Note - Yes, the ammo packs are supposed to be squared off, oddly, they still have ammo clips in them, which are... you guessed it, square.
