Since the official concept artist has been busy, ForbiddenSword has opted to do this piece of juicy refrence:

So yeah, Gusdor and I just got out of an interview with the guys over at GameSurge Radio - it was pretty amusing, though I kept myself schtum most of the time, didn't want to wear out the effect of the english accent too quickly. Gus on the other hand spoke for england, with some seriously deep, intellectual gibberish about stuff, it was amusing!

They asked cool questions, I tried my best not to give too much away while not leaving them disappointed... If you didn't catch it, they're going to be sending us a copy of the show so we'll put that up for you guys to have a listen to at your leisure!

update : Grab the interview here (13 MB, MP3) This isn't the full show, that racks in at something close to 110 meg, so I'm afraid I cut out most of gus's more inane ramblings!

The Project Lead and Head Coder for Empires was on before us, he had some pretty insightful things to say about their stuff, which does sound and look fairly damned awesome! Definitely worth keeping an eye on if you like that RTS flavour.

Sadly, Mark Healey from Rag Doll Kung Fu couldn't make it on due to technical issues, I reckon it would've been pretty cool to chat shit with him for a while - I mean, anyone that comes up with something that cool must be pretty weird in a conversation!

On a side note, IRIS Bear is finally getting shipped out tomorrow, so hopefully we'll hear something from the guys over at Valve about that, even if it is just a case of "OMG, WTF, bomb!" I long for my bear to arrive, in fact, when the entire team is assembled it should be pretty awesome, John's getting Gruber, which should be damned amusing - who wouldn't find a bear with a gasmask and a kevlar helmet awesome?

Its been awhile since the last update, however we have a huge media update. These models are getting better and better, and the mod is really starting to come together! Instead of updating after two months, we have released the update after only 15 days, due to the size of the update. I'll shut up and let you see for yourself!

After a period of (seemingly) downtime, Resident Evil: Cold Blood is back, and back with a vengance. With a new trailer, media, brand spanking new web site (care of Jeebus McChrist), and even new forum software, RE:CB has a completely new feel. So here's some media:

Steam has released an update for the steam client itself, which is only one part of a series of updates for "Steam 3" over the following months. Here's what they had to say:

A new Steam client has been released, updating the integrated Steam store and the Games list. The update will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted.

These changes are part of a larger set of features (collectively known as Steam 3) which will be introduced over the course of the coming months. Today's release allows Steam to offer a larger and more varied collection of games to our customers, and introduces a-la-carte purchases.

We hope everyone enjoys the changes.

And Don't forget to pre-order Rag Doll Kung Fu while it's still only $12.95!

Morphew from The Trenches, a World War One modification for Half-Life, has sent us some great media of the long anticipated 1.1 release. The first shot shows the new German player model in tt_ardennes, followed by the first person view of a player wearing their gas mask, and finally a night version of the classic 0815 map.

Be sure to head on over to their site for more information, as well as a movie showcasing a nice dogfight!

With some inspiration from the comments about the palceholder playermodels in Beta 1, the SoW2 team would like to show the public what they have to look forward to. Deriving from the concept art below, the CoDe player model has made it to the WIP skinning process.

The SoW2 skinner is hard at work on the CoDe player model skin, but says that he could use a hand in the 2D Department, so head over to their Jobs Section for more information about that.

From concept to reality, here is the player model:
