Rumors are that Half-Life 2 will be released around the 4th end of 2003. Also it is expected that it will make it's debut apperance at E3 this year. A few features for Half-Life 2 are:

- Half-Life 2 will be shown at this year's E3
- the game uses the Quake III engine
- the sequel will be "darker" than the first game
- Gordon Freeman is the main character
- Half-Life 2 will be released this November

More info is supposed to be released over the next few days. I eagerly anticipate further information.

Well guys, ive been busy with school work, but heres my post. The guys from Battle of the Millennium has just announced a new contest! The winner of this contest will be able to win a free beta testing spot for the mod! In order to win the contest you have to be able to write a hella good story based on some of the characters featured in the mod which are: Spiderman, Samus Aran, Morrigan Aensland, Green Lantern, and Gambit. Somalian Crisis has been updated with new screenshots. It is a mod based on the events of 1993 in Somalia. It will be interesting to see how this mod shapes up.

The competition at the CPL Cannes CS competition has drawn to a close. The clan SK.swe came home with the big prize of 5,000€. The final results were:1 - SK.swe - 5,000€

Valve has release a new patch today for all of its steam clients. The Steam patch is for users recieving the ERROR: No public CSes logged-in error which was quite anoying.

Some of the writers over at Gamespy have written a quite lengthy article looking at many aspects of Counter-Strike. Despite it's length, it is quite interesting. I suggest you check it out.
