The Global Warfare website team has some new stuff for us. First of all, they have a promotional movie of death animations. You will need DivX to view it. Secondly, they have acquired a new modeler, n30g3n3s1s but they need player skinners. Email them at globalwarfare@planethalflife.com or visit them in their IRC channel on irc.gamesnet.net #globalwarfare.

It is sad that sometimes people that you get to know on the internet just disapear. I was going through my favorite places today and found the link to pixel maps. Click here to go there. This was once the best news and information site for new maps and has slowly faded away into nothingness. I can remember the day when I used to use The Palace Click here to go there. And then i lost all the information on my hard drive then started to use mIRC and I got into TFC and such. Then one day I wondered where did all those people I used to talk to go. It ended up taking me over 2 months on and off to find them. Mabey one day I will start a site where you can find people online. Mabey it is just a bad idea for spammers.
Here is what I found from pixelmaps.com from Axon's profile:
Pixel was originally founded by a guy named Pixel in mid-1999. I joined his review staff about 3 weeks after he started the site up, so I've been a part of Pixel about as long as he was. Together we reviewed some good (and some not so good) maps for TFC and Half-Life Deathmatch and Single Player. Sadly, Pixel disappeared from the Net sometime in the summer of 2000 and hasn't been heard from since.

More about this...soon...

Sven Coop has released a tiny(relatively) patch that fixes Half Life singleplayer for use in Sven Coop. Minor places that caused trouble were removed, and you can now play singleplayer with your friends from the train ride into Black Mesa to the very end and the Nihalanthe.

Go get it now.

The guys from Battle for Europe have decided to start another season! What is BFE you ask?

Battle For Europe is a simulated war for control of Europe, where Campaigns are waged by the Allied or Axis forces to conquer all of the territories in Europe. Think of this game as a cross between a strategy board game and an FPS, allowing you to submerge yourself in realistic WWII environments and strategy.

The campaign starting March, 29th will be free for EVERYONE (over 500 players have already signed up!). Whether or not you're currently registered for BFE, you're invited to sign up and play an entire six week campaign. If you've played BFE in the past, you might be surprised how much things have changed. If you've never played BFE before, you owe it to yourself to give it a try!

Hope to see you on the battlefield! PS: I'm axis :p
