I got an e-mail from Amy at Sony pictures today stating the following:
For Screen Gems new vampire/werewolf movie "Underworld," we've teamed up with Half-Life and I'm excited to tell you about a new mod we released today. The game is a variation on capture the flag over two pretty large maps. The thing that makes this version different is that instead of flags each team is trying to capture a live character. Players choose to be vampires or Lycans (werewolves) and battle through a cityscape, subway tunnels, sewers, the vampires' mansion, over rooftops, and on trains. The goal is to capture the Hybrid, a part-vampire, part-lycan character who can help win the ancient war between the two clans. John Callahan from Homelan Fed previewed the game and here is what he had to say, "We got a chance to play the mod for a bit yesterday and it's shaping up to be neat little mod that can be best described as "Counter-Strike with horror elements" with teams of Vampires and Lycans, each with different classes and special abilities, facing each other in two large maps that have some great and creepy looking textures."I think your audience will enjoy this mod so feel free to post this link on your site. If you would like to host the game yourself, please email me so we discuss this. To download the game, go to hereHere are some specs on the game:. Half-Life 1.1.1.0 required . 2 game maps .
