As you may have known halflife2.net recently lost its host. We are trying to sort this out but in the mean time we have obtained some hosting on a new server kindly provided by Burstfire. Until the halflife2.net domain updates (which should be 24 hours) you can access the forums here. The main site will be up in a few days time.

Vivendi Universal Games confirmed today that Half-Life 2 will not be able to make its scheduled September 30th release date. It's been moved to be released during the holiday season. We will have more information soon. Valve might have ran into some problems or something of the sort so just be patient and they will release it when they can.

Nickster from Half-Life 2 Source has interviewed Gabe Nwell, Chris Bokitch and Dhabih Eng form Valve and he has managed to get some new info from them.

Nickster: Will HL2's multiplayer support over 32 players?
Gabe Yes.

Nickster Will we have to wait another 5 years for HL3?
Gabe I have no idea. Its a question we get to think about once we'er done with HL2.
