So you've been following a whole bunch of MOD's lately, but you really don't know which one is the best. Worry not, puny human. This is how it will work. I will be going through a large database of MOD's, reviewing them all and judging them in several categories. City 17 staff will also have a large say in this. After each MOD has been judged, I will announce the three finalists. Are you working for a MOD, or a big fan of one? Well you can boost your respective MOD's chances by emailing me and telling me why you think your MOD should be a finalist in which category. I'm VERY impressionable. Sending in any screenshots, renders, concepts, storyboards, or anything else will also improve the odds. The categories include the following:Most Anticipated Single Player (Best)Most Anticipated Multiplayer (Best)Most Ambitious (High Hopes)Most UniqueMost Likely To SucceedHighest QualityHardest WorkersCoolest Most Active Fanbase (Goes to the team who has the most staff and fans email me)Starting Sunday I will announce the three finalists for the most anticipated Singe Player and Multiplayer, and one a day until the following Sunday, where the winners of each category will be announced. Bring your best acts and don't forget to email me with your reasons. You can visit the City-17 site Here
RoadKill is a total conversion for Halflife 2 and is inspired by the MAD MAX movies and beyond. The aim of RoadKill is to offer original gameplay with a variety of online gametypes and natural/realistic character movement. The RoadKill world will range from vast deserts ,deserted smalltowns and cities. There will be driveable vehicles and flying vessels (Gyrocopters and small windgliders) to help the cause.

[Brewskie]So there's a dynamic interaction between the objectives and the ability to effectively play? What I mean is this:If you destroy your opponents oil reserve he then becomes limited in vehicles and how far they can go....or you destroy a comm satellite...they are more confined in their comm abilities[CWMP|SideX]Well, more detail on the oil and vehicles: Each team has 3 strategic resources - oil, food, and reinforcements the commander, who is elected, can chose how much gas he has at his team's fuel depot. They start with a certain amount of oil, which is used in the vehicles (yes, the can and will run out of gas....and yes they can be refueled)[Brewskie]Once your oil is destroyed...is that the end of it?[CWMP|SideX]well, you can capture more, but part of the key is rationing the supplies.View the rest here.High Octane has some new renders up for you, keep in mind they are still W.i.P. (Work In Progress) screens.

An interview has been posted with me (Friendly Garg) about GargArena:ModDB Interview
modDB.com: Explain how the player classes will work and why I should be one over the other in your opinion: Friendly_Garg: Your either the garg or the robot. They have the same weapons. Only reason why you should choose a certain team is depending on the map. For example, ou have this map where you have to protect a bunch of computers. The robots want those computers destroyed, but the gargs (somehow) need to protect them. So, it depends on what you want, protect or attack.Friendly Garg
