HL2.net have interviewed Priboi from Awedays

Here's a snippet
Can you tell me what Awedays is about?
Awedays is about some days of awe. 3 civilizations (classes) are crossing these days of awe. In depth: Awedays is about a situation where not one, but 3 civilizations encounter changes, and not just any changes, but serious ones: some might not survive these changes. The story is about survival. The Afterearth and Xendor are already fighting, later on the Unsung appear.

To give you a better example of what Awedays might mean. Imagine: The fall of Communism in East Europe. There were a few days/weeks when the world was changing. Hope, despair, some died, some escaped the prison... and above all that, there was that thing everyone could "feel" - that this is some sort of divine intervention. For those who didn't read the story, I recommend them to do in order to understand what I mean.

HalfLife-Mods have interviewed the_s-man and DaanO from the Citizen-132 mod.

Timmay: What is the basic objective of the game?

the_s-man: There are many objectives to the Single-Player portion to the game. One of course would be your own survival, because you have been captured by the "creatures" and your daring escape puts your own life in jeopardy.
The second objective would be to attempt to save your wife. She has been taken away, and you want to rescue her. The third objective would be to escape out of the town, by any means possible. The Multiplayer objective will not be commented on at this time.

DaanO: note: the creatures may sounds much like Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but they're not monsters really. The enzymes just gives you more muscles, hair so the people that take it will look a bit odd

Hey hey guys. Time for another update. First off I just want to officially welcome our weapon modeler Maty. The kid obviously has lots of talent, and he fits in our team perfectly. Here is some of his work, and expect much much more to come. On a slighty serious note, I just wanted everyone to know that JR is still kicking strong, and we are pumping out more and more work every day. And now here it is:

We all remember Ironman's Super Offroad don't we?

A brilliant game made in 1992 by Ivan Stewart.

Upgrade your tires, top speed, shocks or acceleration, maybe buy some nitro blasts and go, go, go!

Now imagine the physics of HL2 and multiplayer mania..

All players spawn in their own lobby. Here they can either join the spectators or sign-up to drive.

In Ironman Offroad Championships it's not ALL about upgrading and racing, if you fail to qualify for the next race you join the spectators.. as a spectator the fun starts: you can assist your fellow teammates by throwing stuff on the track to obstruct the other team.

You can even place mines, and thus destroy the other cars, on the other hand, you can help your teammates by putting flags on mines you've discoverd, maybe drop some nitro's for him to use or helping the poor fella back on 4 wheels! (these are just examples)

Check out here for more information and screenshots.

NOTE: The screenshots are made in HL1, the OLD hammer, the MOD will, ofcoarse, be in HL2.
