Got Lag? have interviwed illOgic the project leader of G.H.O.S.T Ops.

Here's a Snippet
Got Lag?: I have also heard some people say that they hope G.H.O.S.T. Ops will eventually have a COOP mode (something like Sven Coop.) Are there any plans for a coop mode at this time?

illOgic: Once again, these are all plans for the future, but yes, if there is a single player game, bet there will be a coop mode. :)

  • Many balance improvements (slightly reduced the power of aliens at hive 2, lessened some marine costs, fixes for long end-games, etc.)

  • 1-2 new maps from the community

  • 3rd-person marine reload animations (hoping this will be ready in time)

  • Fixes for dedicated server and mp_consistency

  • Visible player score and new scoring system (not confirmed, and still working out the details)

  • New spectator UI (simple, automatic and shows much more information)

  • Cloaking upgrade enhancements (fades smoothly, players can walk slowly with it)

  • Translations for German, Spanish and Turkish

  • Many bug fixes (occasional stuck issues, sinking structures, rules for voice comm, improved wall-walking near railings and water, etc)

  • Fixing all known exploits

The patch will probably be between 5 and 10 megabytes, and all players will need to download it. We are hoping to release it before the end of August, so look out for it.
The team has been receiving many questions about NS and the Half-life 2engine. We want to see NS on the HL2 engine as much or more then you guysdo. It would be a huge amount of work though, and to really take advantage of its capabilities, all the artwork and maps would have to be re-created. Seeing a sequel to NS on HL2 is something we're looking into though

HomeLAN has interviewed Manuel Schupbach from the Public Enemy team.

Here's a Snippet

HomeLAN - For people who are unfamiliar with the mod, what can you tell us about the basic gameplay for Public Enemy?

Manuel Schupbach - The coolest thing about Public Enemy is the character development if we omit the maps and the graphics now. You can play Public Enemy in dozens of different ways – as hacker, as “rambo”, as sniper or even as suicide assassin. In addition there’s a lot of action but you must also have a good tactic if you want to win – Life is much easier when you work in the team.

Timmay from HalfLife-Mods.com has interviewed eot156 from the Jurassic Rage team.

Here's a snippet

Timmay: Will you have a map/level where you will be able to be dinos?

eot156: We are not planning to allow players to play as dinos. Dinosaurs are going to be acting as real as they can be, and if we have some dork controlling a Trex and running around messing up the whole story, well that just would ruin it. Our dinos will be good enough, they are going to be real in the sence that they will smell blood, and be attracted to sounds. This would mean the predators are going to be where the action is at =p.
