modDB.com: Describe the best feature in the mod in your opinion? What should the person look for that they might miss?

Ikusa: Well the big shocker is the lack of a HUD. It takes a few rounds to get use to, but once you do… It’s second nature. Another big thing about HI is the Ironsight system and player movement. This of course, works together. HI is a slow-paced tactical simulator, but you are immersed.

I also think the fact that 2-3 hits can cause your player to do down. In HI, you’re “dead” either by a “kill shot” or from getting incapacitated.

You will notice in the scoring window, there is no kill count. This also is a big part of our objective system. We promote teamwork through objective completion and working as a team.

My appologies for not updating, been kinda putting it off until we had some real news. We've been trying to manage without a bunch of skinners, and this is what I've come up with.

In Warriors of the Apocalypse, you will be able to gather items, and combine them using your science skill in the inventory. An example is taking a coffe can, a pound of TNT, and assort nuts bolts screws etc. and combing the three. Add a fuse, and you got a nice little bomb you can light and run away from. Add a blasting cap, you got a remote detonating bomb. Add a small clock and you've got a time bomb. Now for the eye-candy:

At this point you are thinking 1 of 3 things:

I'm sick in the head.
This mod is sick! Kickass!
I'm sick in the head and this mod kicks ass!

Don't let my meager box-skinning skills fool you, we still need a skinner desperatly. Please help us out, post about our game on forums. Just don't direct link images. Stick around, theres always more to come. Check the forums out, too. sign up, its free and easy!

Still in a beta but it rules.
A group of game developers called Unreal Software made a 2D version of Counter-Strike.

The game has all the sounds from Counter-Strike itself. The game however is viewed from the top, like in GTA! Cool thing is though, that you can't look through or around walls, so if someone is standing behind a door you are walking through you can see the shape of the room but not the persons in it until you have fully entered in! Now I know this all sounds and looks weird, but the game is fun to play. Next to that this game has a multiplayer section as well, and not only that, you can also add bots!

There is also some new media that is available on their site.
We need some more team members to get this mod completed.
We realy need a good vehicle modeller, and also a player and character modeller and a texture artist.
We also have some other positions open, we need a coder, a skinner, a sound artist, some animators and a mapper.

So when you think you fit into one of these positions, please apply for it on the 'jobs' page on our website.

We got two new skins in our media section, the Vanguard's MK2 Frag Grenade, and the Rogues' version of the Muela Axe. The MK2 was skinned by Karpman, a new talented skinner which I'd like to welcome to the team. The axe was skinned by Numb Rider.

Today's also Karpman's birthday, so happy birthday from the rest of the team. Enjoy the new truck ;).

Hey again! Although kingmaker may seem to be progressing slow at the moment with the lack of news updates, I assure you much work is being done behind the scenes. Within the last few weeks 2 new members have joined our team, and give them a warm welcome. Daseuster, an amazing mapper has already started on a map and screenies are coming soon. The 2nd member, Advent, has started work on some really awsome textures.

In other news, we recently finished an interview with www.hl2grounds.net so expect that to be posted soon along with some new renders :D
