Releated: Stargate Total Conversion
I will make this simple and fast. I'll begin with the bad news: 1.2 won't be online for sometime. We practically made it halfway there but you'll have to be more patient. It will be at least another month until the next release!

Now , good news! We've started 3 news models: The P90, M249, and M4A12 respectively.

Well this is what's done at the moment.

But wait, there is more: a video clip.

Gate Movie (divx5, 3.17Mb, 30sec)

What you'll see in this movie is the latest version of the gate which shows of the most wonderful piece of code in this mod.

In the next release you'll be able to launch some objects, like Staffshots, grenades, TER shots and larvae into the gate but the ammo of projectile weapons like the P90 and Berreta won't go through the gate (neither will the Zat)!

Well this is it for this week, but be sure to check in next week for more news and details of Beta 1.2, (Most likely to be screens of more models and maps)!

We're also looking for player modelers to redo our characters and a 2D artist to make the skinning of the new weapons go faster. If you're interested please mail to recrutement@stargatetc.com or in our IRC Channel #stargatetc.

I just have a quick update for everyone. We will have a big post, that will also include the contest details, within a week or so. Things have been a bit quiet here(on the mod), due to my wife having just given birth to my son almost 2 weeks ago, so I have been away from the PC. But we are getting everything back on track this week here at Jedi: Timeline. We are providing you with 2 wallpapers made by staff members expjames91 and Der SchattenJager.
Also we wanted to show you 2 articles one from PC Gamer (UK) and one From PC Games (Germany). It’s nice to see retail news media looking and appreciating our work here. Gets us all hyped up to pump out even better work.

Welcome to the monthly or rather, post-monthly update. Sorry for the wait but i'm sure you'll be more than impressed.

We had some issues with the internal including coding to animation problems and a couple of our MDL's just not being finished or delivered on time.
Anyways, we did have enough ready to start testing our maps. I went through all of the maps that I had at my disposal and took over 40 images which have now been uploaded and are present for your viewing pleasure on the images page.

The maps featured include:
RE_Rpd by Termin8tor
RE_Mall by Incy
and the RPD Basement by Tick-Tock.
On a sadder note, our lead modeller, MaXeR, was forced to leave the team this month in hopes of pursueing his goal of becoming a professional 3D artist. Keep him in mind in the following years because i'm sure we can expect to see great things from him.

He uploaded the last of his work which happened to include character facial expressions and an updated cop zombie both viewable from the images page.

I myself have continued to work on the OST and have uploaded 3 more tunes as well as the 3 we had on the old site way back when we were hosted on Freewebs.

The song uploaded include:

Afterwards
End of the Corridor
Tearful Goodbyes
Ever Rising
Fortress in the Wilderness
Lucidity

All of these can be found on the Files page.

That's all for now. Expect the next promo vid sometime before the end of the month. It should include in game footage at the end after a contination of Chris and Ray's adventure from the last.

Remember to vote for us on ModDB by clicking the link at the bottom of the page!

Great things are coming.

We are currently experiencing some server problems. Things should be back to normal within a few hours. Sorry for all of the trouble.

The popular modification site Mod N Mod has interviewed Argyll regarding Insurgency. Here is an excerpt:

QUOTE
Q: Well fair enough and that is a good point. Do you have any plans on Palestine/Israel for example, as a new mod has done? This is a very controversial and interesting battle theatre.

[INS]Argyll: We currently do not have plans to include the conflict in Israel. We do feel it is quite controversial and also is not as much along the lines of a 'conventional' war. It is a very complicated situation there, so that's why we would like to keep it out of the mod for now.

You can read the rest of the interview here.

Along with the interview, an exclusive render of a brand new vehicle was provided. This is the Yugo and will be seen mainly in the Balkans region (Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo) used by Guerrilla forces.

With the Battle Grounds now being advertised in steam, the player community increased has by around tenfold in the last week. More and more people are enjoying playing the Battle Grounds and the number of new people playing the Battle Grounds is increasing daily.

We are desperately looking for more game servers, which can handle the current amount of players.

Almost all servers are full during the day and people are happy if they can find an open slot on any server, no matter where the server is located or how high the ping is.

If you always thought about hosting a Battle Grounds server yourself now might be the perfect time to do so. If your clan is thinking about renting a server, please do so.

I will also take this opportunity to announce that we will be releasing the first of two trailers for 1.2.2 on Monday.
