Not letting anything slip, let's just say that it's revolutionised the team and spurred us on to produce yet more incredible work. And on that note I must bring this post to a close. Comments are now free to be posted throughout the website by anyone who has a forum account, so go forth and, well, post comments. You can post comments on all news posts, developer diaries and stories, and the proceedure to do so is fairly self-explanatory. To post comments on news items, simply click the corresponding link attached to each news post. Developer Diaries can be reached through the Developer Diary link on the navigation menu to the left. Member profiles can be viewed on the Development Team page. The media page was designed to be user-friendly, and is divided into separate media sections. It should be easy enough to use, and can be accessed through the navigation menu. - To join the Jurassic Rage Team you can now use the join form, located to the left in the navigation menu. We've been really busy at The Trenches, keeping game production going while our members are going through various transitions. Sound artist Prime Suspect is off to college again and skinner rotzbua, still busy with some new family related things. We've also released a few non-official videos, "home videos" if you will, taken from The Trenches beta testing sessions. Two of the videos are now down due to bandwidth concerns but many forum members still have the videos. A more organized and official video will be released later and hosted by FragFiles.Do you sing in the shower or yell along with the Wehrmacht in Day of Defeat? Here's you chance at stardom! We're looking for British and German voice actors for The Trenches voice command section. See details on the forums, www.thetrenches.net/forums/Also, we'd like to welcome Hawk to the ring of TT contributors as we have been testing his third party map "tt_0815" and were thoroughly impressed! The map is through its first build and still needs a few tweaks, but testing sessions indicate the the map looks good and plays great, especially with large amounts of people. Exclusive screenshots coming soon!

That's right we have a new modeler to the team, everyone give Eclipse a warm HLEB welcome. He'll be finishing up the models we have left along with Victor. Welcome Eclipse!Well, now for the update. As you know DragonDude has made an icon, Mr. Victor has made a tree for Ranboob:DragonDude has been keeping up the coding progress (too early to say what) and I've been animating the character Poo. I have most of the basic animations done, so he's playable now. Once I finish up, maybe I could release a little video or something. TheGrimace finished a lot of Paula's basic animations, but is currently sidelined. So I may have to finish her up too.And make sure you keep supporting us on ModDB!

Source: HL2 CentralRelated: ForsakenHL2 Central just had the chance to interview the people over at the HL2 mod, Forsaken.
What will set your mod apart from other Half-Life 2 mods?In general we’re aiming for a quality over quantity with Forsaken.Gameplay wise we’re pretty excited about the 3-way team play element we have, and in addition we believe the whole story and background that has been created around each of the different teams will further enrich the experience and atmosphere for the players. One of the grander ideas we have planned is an extended game-mode where your team must push the other faction back over a series of locations all the way to the enemy’s HQ/bunker and finally destroy it, this game mode will be called “Territory War”, and will feature some other unique concepts not yet seen in a mod.Another aspect that will allow us to stand out will be the use of authentic textures from some of the real-life locations that we will be mapping. For instance in some of the London maps we will be modelling famous street layouts and using authentic photos as textures taken from the actual walls of the buildings on-location.

It's true folks...we are sorry to report that at the last minute, as the crew of GameSHOUT Radio were preparing to perform tonight's show, something startling happened. As you know, we are broadcasting from an AM station in the Florida everglades. We have seen our share of "critters" as folks down here call them. As a passing thunderstorm was just reaching the station, we heard a HUGE thunder clap...the lights went out...then we smelt this AWFULL smell of something burning. It was this smell forced us outside to see a possum next to the broadcast and power cables. It seems that it was chewing on the cables when lightning struck the broadcast tower, completely frying this poor possum. BUT, without power, we cannot broadcast, and they cannot get an electrician out here until Monday. SO, SORRY, NO SHOW TONIGHT! We SHOULD be in new quarters next week, but that is uncertain. On a lighter note, while we were inspecting the cables, we found the reason for all of the funny noises from under the "broadcast studio" here. An armadillo ran out from under the trailer. This poor critter was so scared that it ran FULL THROTTLE SMACK into Andy's right shin!!! Andy will be walking funny for a week at least, and we have a GREAT story to tell his grandkids!GOOD NEWS! By Monday evening, YOU will be able to play Counter-Strike: Source with your favorite GameSHOUT Radio personalities on OUR NEW GAME SERVER!!! Keep checking back for all of the details that will get YOU into THE GAME! Cya There!!
