Also, we're still looking for help to get this mod moving. Specifically an animator, player modeller, and skinner. Email either me: raedonwolf@hotmail.com or Complexz: complexz@hotmail.com if you're interested.

Hi!
I'm SpectrumPT. I'm from Portugal and I'm the responsible for the new website.
I'm proud to announce that the Black Dragon Official Site Version 2.0 is operational for the whole community (but I'll always be around doing some improvements).

The next big step is to make the Flash version of the site. Believe me what you can see now is not comparative of what you'll see later.

Also new media will be up soon!

I hope you like the new design.
Feel free to contact me via email for whatever you'd like to say.
Thanks.

"As I walk through the thick jungle, with my custom made AK-74 with GP25 grenade launcher, I begin to feel uneasy. I order the scout to move up. He find just what I had feared, a sniper. The shot cracks and the scout dies instantly. Adrenaline kicks in as enemy M16A2s ripe through the dence jungle. I hit the ground hard while my M60 guy lights up like the 4th. Soon we take another casualty. This time a rifleman is hit and wounded. Screams of "MEDIC!" echo in the jungle. I then light up some poor bastard trying to crawl to safety. He didnt have a chance against my 5.45x39 rounds. Then I spot him, the sniper. My GP25 grenade rips his body and the medic arrives lighting up the jungle with his 12 Gauge Remington." Welcome to FireArms 2.9!

The Betatesting of the mod Brainbread is coming along nicely. Here the update, including several beta screens:

Hello everybody!
I want to inform you, that the betatest is coming along great: Spin fixed many major bugs and we are now mainly tweaking the gameplay of Brainbread. We will take the time necessary to make it as fun as possible. To shorten the time to the release a bit I have several screenshots for you taken by our betatesters. You can see some elements of the experience and mission objective system on these screenshots.

Related: Project Lilith

The former Far Cry mod Project Lilith is stepping over to the Half-Life 2 engine:

Hi everyone, Project Lilith, a mod originally for Farcry, has decided to move to the Source engine as we all think it will be better for our mod. This mod has been around since about March 2004. We have most concept art and weapon models completed, and since were moving we will need new maps, scripts etc. A disadvantage of us moving is we lost some members so will we need new ones.

We are looking for:
2x Character Modelers
2x Vehicle Modelers
1x Weapon Modeler
3x Animators
2x Scripters
2x 2d Artists
3x Mappers
2x Sound Engineers

We are looking for a fairly large team, that is because if it all goes well and the mod is a hit i am thinking of buying Source and distributing the mod as a game.

Information about the mod can be found here.

If anyone is interested, please post a application here or email me at dt13@projectlilith.com

Thank you all for your time

Timmay from Jedi: Timeline sends in a great media update of the mod:

Well it’s been a while since you last heard from us. We have been hard at work on the mod, restructuring the staff, and getting ready to launch the Jedi: Timeline contest. It’s been a busy last 2 months. But hey I am here to give you a big media release, and to let you all know to come back tomorrow November 15, 2005. We here at Jedi: Timeline wanted to celebrate the release of Half-Life 2, with an all out modding contest. The contest will be for models, maps, and concept. We have plenty of big prizes for you. But full details will be released on the 15th. So don’t forget to stop by. Also don’t forget to vote for us at moddb.com

First you are going to see the models for our clone trooper army. Starting from left is the Clone Pilot (low poly only), battle wounded Clone Trooper (High and low poly), and the fresh out of the factory Clone Trooper.

Clone troopers were fully encased in hard white armor, their identical faces concealed behind a t-shaped visor. Color-coded flashes on the armor denoted rank, with green troopers being sergeants, blue being lieutenants, red being captains, and yellow being commanders. The clones designated for command duty were specifically trained in that capacity.

 • Homeworld: Kamino

 • Species: Human

 • Gender: Male

 • Height: 1.83 meters

 • Weapons: Blaster Rifle

You have seen the AT-PT before bust never looking this good. expjames91, one of the new team co-leads busted out another great model skin as you can see here.

The AT-PT (All Terrain Personal Transport) was an experimental single-person walker design which was originally designed by the Old Republic. It was meant to turn a single soldier into an armed force that could take on and defeat an entire squad of troops. Ultimately, the AT-PT project was cancelled. The majority of the Old Republic's AT-PTs were on the Katana Dreadnaught Fleet, after it was lost the momentum to furthering the AT-PT project was lost as well. Imperial Engineers later used many of its concepts when they were designing the AT-AT and the AT-ST.

The TIE Fighter is brought to you by the new member of the JT team Chems. He has brought a fresh new fell and excitement to the team. He did such a great job of modeling this, he has the honor of modeling all the TIEs that will be featured in this mod.

The basic TIE (Twin Ion Engine) Fighter is at the heart of the Empire's striking force. What is lacks technically it makes up fore in huge numbers. They're unshielded, but have advanced threat indicators, so pilots can tell when they're being targeted. Armed with a twin laser, it's used mainly as a dogfighter.

 • Weapons: 2 SFS L-s1 single fire or fire-linked front of cockpit

Saruman, lead model designer for JT brings you not 1 but 2 more of his spectacular models. First you will see the T-16 skyhopper. This you can find native to the planet Tatooine. And last but not least the Imperial Probe Droid is the last one on the list.

The Incom T16 Skyhopper is one of the most common personal transport used, the Rebel Alliance recruited several of intrepid bush pilots in the Outer Rim worlds who had experience in flying the T-16. Among these young men were Jek Porkins, Biggs Darklighter and Luke Skywalker himself.

Specially designed for deep space exploration, and reconnaissance, probe droids are employed in science and military applications. They gather data and transmit it to their masters over vast distances. Tenacious hunters and searchers, probe droids (or probots) have a variety of sensors, and the ones employed by the Empire are armed with powerful blasters and, in some models, shields.

 • Manufacturer: Arakyd Industries
