Been a few weeks since we went public... thought I should release an update on our progress.First off, here is a peek at the remake of a 1v1 arena favorite, Thunderstruck: (image included)Also, we are in desperate need of a test server. Coding is going well, and we have had internal test builds that we have gotten to mess around on, but in the near future we're going to need something bigger then hosting little servers from our cable to test builds. So we are in need of a T1 or better perminant connection with ftp access. Whoever can host the server for us will also officially be on the QA (testing) team. So if you or someone you know has a server they can help us with, drop me a line. Also, even tho the coder positions are full, we are still in big need of a larger design team. We need a modeler with the ability to model and animate high poly character models, they will also help with other modeling odds and ends. We are also seeking a texture artist to help create new content and texture sets for our maps. Lastly we need more level designers, we'll have more public info up soon on mapping for RAS... but for now if your interested in making a map for RAS, start by building 3 smaller 1v1 arenas and 1 larger dm-like clan arena. We will be releasing a custom RAS fgd and documentation sometime in the near future.Lastly, I've compiled a master list of links to all HL2 editing tutorials. If you know any more thats not in the list, reply to the post and I'll add it to the list. http://arena.hl2files.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18So check out the site! http://arena.hl2files.comHead on over to the Rocket Arena: Source site for more.-photeknixRAS Project Leader
