The team of Mission to Coldwater has released the following press release:

The year is 2015, the discovery of planets like Earth have sparked an overwhelming-
increase in space exploration and enhancements in technology, as we send not only humans,
but robots to explore these distant Earth-like planets.
The first mission, the one that will be known until the end of time, the mission
to Coldwater, a planet only fifty light years away from Earth, is now underway.

Over the next few years the humans started developing colonies on the planet of Coldwater, knowing another intelligent species, the "Vrede" inhabit this distant planet.

Humans began claiming land as their own, sending more and more soldiers in efforts to prevent the Vrede from attacking if at anytime, they were to do so.

Vrede being an intelligent yet peaceful species haven't had their eyes shut over the past decade since the humans have came upon their planet, they began a secret force called the, "Protection of Coldwater". The P.O.C began production of technology to prevent the Humans from total take over by any means necessary.

The attack on the city of Eagaer has forced the P.O.C to finally be unvealed. The, "War of Man" has begun.

Quote:
Coldwater was once beautiful, the term, "War" not known to its ears, then came the creature called, "Man".

FD BOT- Small spider like bot which plants itself, and projects an array across any given pathway. Produces a "force wall" which enemies cannot pass through unless the bot or wall is destroyed.

Some great new media has been released by the Clash of the Ages! team:

Hey everyone, we would like to wish everyone a happy new year!
this passed December 27 marked the 1 year anniversary of Clash of the Ages, and so our Head of Public Relations, the lovable Scott Brown has this to say:

-----------------------------------------------------
First of all, I would like to wish the community a belated Happy New Year! Also, on the 27th of December, the development team celebrated its one year anniversary. To commemorate these two events, the development team has prepared an assortment of media for the public.

The first piece of media I would like to release on behalf of the development team is a re-modeled and re-textured Colt 1911 Pistol. The Colt 1911 Pistol will be used by the Euro-Americans in the Industrial Age. This model was made and textured by La_Chika.

The second bit of media that we have for the public today is the FAMAS Assault Rifle, which is used by the Euro-Americans in the Modern Age. This model was also made and textured by our very own La_Chika.

The final weapon model that the development team has for you today is the Hatchet, which is used by the Euro-Americans in the Melee Ages. This model was made by Moutix and was textured by Darkside.

The development team would also like to welcome its newest team member to the team, Civok. Civok has been working very hard on the first map for Clash of the Ages, COTA_Constantinople, which is set in the days of the Ottoman Empire. As the name suggests, this map is centered around the Turkish city of Constantinople, now referred to as Istanbul. The Grecko-Romans will be situated within the walls of the city, the other two teams positioned on the surrounding land. Geography will remain fairly accurate to real life, and the city will lie on the waterfront.

The final piece of media that the team would like to present is a bit of a teaser. You can find it here.

Happy New Year!

We're starting off this new year with a quick little update of PVKII media and affairs. I'd like to start by requesting the help of anyone who has access to a free ftp that our team may use.

Second, we're revamping the site. Our new member, Battin, is currently designing us a new one. He will also be involved in the creation of our HUD graphics and other things of that nature.

Finally, a little media update from the team. Below we have four new skins, two new concepts, and a completed player model. The player model is already in the process of being skinned, and will surely be ready for the next news post.

That's all for now, hope everyone has started this year off well. Keep an eye out for another news post, we'll be working hard.

Half-Life 2 wins the poll by a significant margin which is no surprise to us all. All the qualities of a outstanding game was evident in Half-Life 2 and the members of DH clearly felt that those qualities were enough to propel it towards Game of The Year status.

Congratulations and thanks go out to Valve! We all look forward to Half-Life 3!
