Sailing through the foggy nights we stumble upon some great looking and brand new Mist media:

A little holiday update for ye, mates! Heres a couple new weapons to pillage with.

The Blunderbuss is a shotgun-like weapon firing a wide blast of buckshot a short distance, excellent for those close-up encounters or clearing decks. This weapon is carried by the Black Buccaneers crew. (See Teams Page)



The Cursed Pirates Cutlass doesnt rank high for craftsmanship, but is deadly in the hands of an Undead Pirate. Along with the other swords, Primary fire deivers a slash and Secondary fire is used to parry or block an enemy's sword. More info on Sword combat to come.



Lastly, yer cap'n has some stocking stuffers for ye landlubbers tonight. Our amazing sound artist CaptainRED has been busy at work creating the sound files that will make up the audio portion of Mist. Here is a little preview of what Mist Mod will sound like.

    Ok, we need some help but first I will post a shortened version of the story, for those of you who don't have time to check the full one out on the site.

    You are Sorrel von Schrover, crown price of Jarvessia, your father has been killed, your goverment torn down and you and your mother have been put to work in factories. Origionally the people welcomed the Nabouhrists, but then they showed their true colours and the country has been turned into a living hell. 10 years after the revelution and new revelutionary group called the Kaiser Reborn that wishes to restore the monarchy contacts you, and after some time you decide to go with them. After a year of training with the best, what remains of your fathers Imperial Guard, who now call themselves Special Forces, everything is in place, the civil war is ready, and you begin your jurney to reclaim the throne of Jarvessia.


    In single player you will be in charge of a four man special forces unit including yourself. Among your team mates is a Lyern (Lie-ren) who is yet to be named (I have named him but you know hat I mean). The Lyrens are migice users, and are very much a different race, though at a glance they look just like Humans, the live twice as long as the average human and age half as much. In addition their eyesare different, some say they have seen them glow at times.

    The missions will range any where from placing explosives to sabotage factories, to capturing enemies for questioning to leading a break through in the front lines. and you will fight a large arrey of enemies ranging from Supperssion squads to front line soldiers to factory gards to interrigators to conscripts and alot more.

    There will be alot of weapons, so far we have decided on these:

    Kaiser Reborn: Bolt action Rifle, Sub machine gun, Assault rifle, sniper rifle, and an array of close combat weapons (see site for more)

    Naboughrists: Semi-Auto rifle, sub machne gun, Assault rifle, shock batton&riot shield and an arrey of other weapons (see site for more)

    As for multie player, You will be able to choose from an arrey of clases on wither team, including (for Kaiser reborn) Special Forces, standard troopers, and officers, in additon ther are (for the Nabouhrists) Suppression squads Regualr troopers officers and conscripts.

    There will be limets on weapons, each team may only have one half as many sub-machine guns as rifles, one quarter as many Assault rifles, and one fifth as many specialised weapons (eg. shock batton&riot shield, snpier rifle)

    What we need:
    • Two modellers

    • Two skiners

    • One coder

    • One animator

    • One-Two texture artists

    • One mapper

    • A PR

    • One sound technition
